On expiration day (Nov 21), FLR slipped below the $45 level, which meant the put option I sold was assigned. As a result, I now own 100 shares of FLR at a cost basis of $45 per share, or $4,500 total.
The next step in my wheel strategy is to sell a covered call against these newly assigned shares. As of today, FLR is trading around $45.41, and I’m aiming to sell a January 16th call for a premium in the $160–$190 range. So far, none of my orders have filled over the past couple of days—but I’ll keep trying!
